Pay Rate: $23.10/hour

Perfect Attendance Bonus: Additional $0.75/hour

Schedule: M - F, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Properly store spare parts in designated locations, manually or by use of forklift.
  • Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments from vendors, carriers, or inter-company transfers. Inspect and verify the received items against purchase orders or delivery notes, ensuring their quality and quantity align with the provided documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or damages found during the receiving process. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed promptly to take appropriate actions.
  • SAP Data Entry: Utilize the SAP system to record and update receiving information, including quantities, lot numbers, and any discrepancies found during inspection. Accurate data entry is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our inventory records.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system, both physically and digitally within SAP. This includes properly labeling, tagging, and storing incoming items in designated areas.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues related to deliveries promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to the receiving process.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on receiving activities, inventory levels, and discrepancies to assist management in decision-making and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in the receiving and inventory management workflows, striving for increased efficiency and reduced errors.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy at 95% or higher in SAP; including inventory location and quantity.
  • Ship out materials, manually or by use of forklift, as required to maintain appropriate spare parts inventory levels.
  • Performs cycle counts of spare parts.
  • Investigates discrepancies by verifying counts and reviewing adjustments to inventory.
  • Enters data for parts or material used is SAP
  • Report stockouts monthly to help ensure min/max set points are appropriate.
  • Ensures that housekeeping in the Parts room is maintained to a safe level and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored at all times, as well as before leaving such area for breaks, mealtimes, and end of the shift.
  • Must be able to report to work on time and work all hours required of the job, including mandatory overtime; may be required to occasionally cover shifts other than the one for which hired.
  • Remain current on plant and safety matters, participating regularly in department/plant safety meetings.
  • Record problems and events in maintenance and departmental logbooks to ensure the efficient operation.
  • Performs administrative duties and other work-related duties as directed.
  • Manages the repair system of parts to ensure maximum inventory availability
  • Serve as backup for Incoming Goods Clerk

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework, certification, or formal education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must obtain and maintain a current OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License. Training and certification assistance may be provided by the employer.

Experience:

  • Ability to accurately identify and differentiate between mechanical and electrical parts, with prior experience in inventory systems and product identification preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar position such as inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Hands-on experience in a SAP-based environment is strongly preferred, or significant familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
  • Track record of strong attention to detail, with proven ability to ensure consistent accuracy in data entry, order processing, and record-keeping tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams, fostering collaboration and partnership across departments.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industries is an advantage.

  • Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures, promptly report unsafe conditions, and demonstrate proper usage of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations, particularly in a warehouse or industrial environment.

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret written information such as work orders, invoices, packing slips, safety instructions, and operational guidelines.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to count accurately, calculate simple equations and fractions, and perform mental math as needed.
  • Ability to learn, apply, and effectively utilize ERP systems and basic computer software, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
