DOZER OPERATOR

We are looking for a Dozer Operator to join our team! This position is in charge of opening new or existing site and prepare for aggregate extraction & stockpiling then restore site after extraction operation is completed.

Salary range: $25-35 per hour

Hours per week: 40

Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Safley and properly perform maintenance (Lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on a bulldozer.
• Construct drain field and ditches as needed.
• Prepare site for aggregate mining, stockpile millings and other aggregate products for the plants.
• Recover submerged aggregate.
• Cover fabric on job sites.
• Maintain strong customer relations with managers, supervisors, pit owners, co-workers and other customers.
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening and written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain poster customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problems solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operations/repair, etc.) Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
• Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR safety and environmental regulation compliance.
• Performs other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma. or equivalent.
• Equipment maintenance & operation.
• Ability to provide and maintain licensure and acceptable driving record.
