Knight Barry Title is hiring for a Construction Escrow Coordinator in Madison, WI! Under the general supervision of an Escrow Manager, the Construction Escrow Coordinator will process and disburse construction escrows in accordance with Company standards. This position has flexible hours, ranging anywhere between 15 - 20 hours per week, or more if desired.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes construction escrow draws including maintaining contractor’s cost breakdown spreadsheet, ordering inspections, and collecting and reviewing lien waivers.
- Order and disburse funds in accordance with Knight-Barry Title, Inc. accounting standards.
- Answers customer inquiries on pending construction files and provides general information in a professional manner.
- Performs miscellaneous escrow functions as directed by supervisor.
- Promotes a positive work environment and maintains ongoing communication with co-workers and supervisor.
- Prepares draw documents and disbursement endorsements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and organize files of importance.
- Strong attention to detail, deadline oriented, and ability to multitask effectively.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING
- Customer Service and Banking Preferred.
