Well established and trusted financial investment firm seeking a highly organized and professional receptionist to join our team and help provide a welcoming environment for our clients and staff. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the receptionist will play a key role in representing our firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a range of administrative duties, managing front office operations, and ensuring a smooth office flow. Hours are M-F 10:00 am-4:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conference rooms
- Maintain the office's general appearance and ensure it is always presentable
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform data entry, filing, and other office tasks
Qualifications:
- Basic proficiency in computer programs to include excel, outlook, word, powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferable within a professional or financial services environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent required, additional qualifications are a plus
Hourly position with semi-annual performance bonuses, generous PTO policy and several paid holidays. We do not offer company sponsored health insurance benefits.
