Document Control Specialist

KSPS is seeking a Document Control Specialist who will be a primary point of contact for engineering document control processes and support at our Corpus Christi and Houston site. This role will need to be resourceful and capable of partnering with key stakeholders, building strong relationships, and interacting with all levels within the organization.

What You Will Do

• Develop, document, and manage Document Control systems, work processes, and project plans to ensure consistency of facility engineering documentation and physical assets (e.g., IT equipment), equipment records, and project documentation.
• Maintain project team SharePoint and file structure.
• Understand, document, and communicate Document Control processes and procedures to both site-based teams and remote project management and engineering support.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support document updates and modifications, including redlining and revision control.
• Ensure successful migration to and management of the new AutoCAD document repository.
• Close out project files and coordinate document transfer to facility drawing depository.
• Support Project Managers with the distribution of RFQs, quotes, and procurement documents.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in an engineering, design, or construction capacity supporting an industrial environment.
• Experience with an Electronic Document Management System for document control activities.
• Knowledge of technical documents (e.g., engineering drawings, calculations, specifications) and construction documents and processes.
• Experience using Drawing/Document Redline management tools and processes (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam).

What Will Put You Ahead

• Drafting & Design experience in an industrial environment.
• Broad knowledge across aspects of document management practices, software, and training development.
• Database management experience.
