POSITION SUMMARY: (Please read in its entirety)
AMAZING company located in South Florida (Delray Beach, PGA)looking for a Human Resources Administrator assists with the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including payroll and benefits administration. Assists with onboarding new hires, employee relations and employment terminations. Works with HR/Payroll Manager, Senior Management, and Counsel to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Must have extensive knowledge of I9 & E-Verify compliance. Must have extensive knowledge of FMLA compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboarding: ·
· Process all new employee hiring processes (onboarding) 100%
· Register candidates for pre-employment drug screening
· Process pre/post background investigations and review candidates
· Process any adverse employments with interactive processes
· Schedules E-Verify First Day meetings and processes E-Verify and I-9 forms
· Confirm payroll authorization forms and FLSA status is in accordance with corporate standards
· Draft Offer of Employment letters when needed
· Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and required documents have been received
· Provide 401(k) and benefits plan summaries and conduct enrollment process
· Answer questions relating to HR policies, procedures, laws, and company standards
· Maintain Human Resources personnel files
· Audit HR employee files yearly
· Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and analyzing data
· Assist as a back up for payroll funcions
Employee Relations:
· Answer questions relating to HR policies, procedures, laws, and company standards
· Consult with employees and management regarding grievance procedures
Benefits Administration:
· Assist with Open Enrollment
· Administration of benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
· Act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefits related problems
· Encourage effective utilization of plan services
· Participate in annual review of plan benefits and employer contribution rates
· Assist with annual benefits open enrollment meetings to communicate plans changes
· Update employment records related to hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations and ensure personnel action forms have proper approvals
· Prepare ad-hoc reports for management
· Process employees requesting time off under Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), prepare required notification and approval forms and Short-Term Disability
· Aid employees with on-the-job injuries for medical treatment and claims reporting, conduct post- accident drug screens and assist with return to work and requests for modified job duties
· Responds to state requests for unemployment benefits and complete required documentation
· Assist with VOE requests (Verification of Employment)
· Assist employees with general inquiries regarding their employment
Other Government Compliance:
· U.S Department of Labor: Occupational Injuries and Illnesses Survey (to obtain an accurate representation of work-related injuries and illnesses in the workplace)
· U.S. Department of Commerce - Census Bureau: Annual Services Report (data compiled is used to measure economic performance)
· U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission: EEO-1 Report (to collect data on race, ethnicity, and sex of workers, by job category)
REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Must have 3-5 years of HR onboarding of new hires
· Must have PAYCOM experience
· Must have I9 and E-Verify experience
· Must have FMLA compliance knowledge and experience
· Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent from an accredited college in a related area.
· Must have excellent knowledge of Window, Microsoft Office, networking and be proficient in utilizing internet to resolve IT related issues.
