The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing service and parts support for customers, engineers, and sales. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing pricing, providing file drawings, and quotes for spares parts.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive working relationships with existing customers and establish working relationships with new customers
- Receive inbound phone calls to exchange information and answer questions
- Prepare quotes based on customer requests
- Organize and prioritize sales and quotes to meet customer specifications and deadlines
- Process Sales Orders within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Utilize ERP system to create detailed Bills of Material
- ·esearch components and other materials for use in orders; contacting suppliers as needed to determine availability, functionality, and costs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, associate degree in a Business, Supply Chain or an Engineering discipline preferred
- Two years of additional experience working in a Purchasing or Customer Service role
- One to two years of experience working with an ERP system
- One to two years working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering terms and principals with the ability to read, write, and understand basic mathematics and measuring
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to climb up and down ladders and/or stairs to examine parts and equipment
- Finger dexterity for drafting and computer use
