Position Overview:
As a Cook at Konro, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, preparing and cooking food to our high standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will be working closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs and sous chefs, to ensure timely and high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, cook, and present dishes following the restaurant’s menu and standards.
- Ensure that food is cooked to the highest quality and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish.
- Assist in menu preparations, mise en place, and ingredient prep.
- Contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment.
- Previous experience in a cooking or kitchen role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
