Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support our construction and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will assist in project coordination, documentation, and communication between teams to ensure efficiency and smooth execution of projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction and manufacturing projects.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Track project progress and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other project-related documents.
- Manage and organize procurement requests, inventory tracking, and material deliveries.
- Support compliance with safety regulations, permits, and company policies.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute action items as needed.
- Perform administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining files.
- Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting project-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in Business, Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, construction, maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of construction/manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and documentation is a plus.
- QuickBooks experience a plus
