Position Overview:
The Service BDC Representative is responsible for managing customer service appointments, providing excellent customer service via phone, and ensuring all service schedules are handled efficiently. This role also includes making follow-up calls, utilizing the online scheduling system, and serving as a backup cashier when needed. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and able to adapt to varying tasks assigned by management.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Appointment Scheduling:**
- Answer inbound customer calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and technician availability.
- Manage appointments using the online scheduling system and ensure all information is accurately recorded.
- Follow up with customers to confirm appointments and reschedule if necessary.
- **Customer Follow-Up:**
- Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on missed or rescheduled appointments to rebook services as needed.
- **Cashier Duties (Backup):**
- Serve as a backup cashier, assisting with customer payments as needed.
- Ensure accurate processing of customer transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash register area.
- **Administrative Support:**
- Assist management with other assigned tasks as needed, including maintaining service records and managing appointment calendars.
- Provide general clerical support and perform any additional duties as requested by management.
Job Type and Hours: Full-Time, Hourly
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
Every 3rd Monday 7:00am-7:00pm
Every Third Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm
Compensation: $16/hourly monthly commission based on appointments set and upsells
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or office administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with online scheduling systems or appointment management tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling cash transactions and basic cashiering duties.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude in all customer interactions.
- Flexibility to assist with other duties and adapt to changes in workflow as directed by management.
