Kootenai County District Court is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Court Services Clerk II to join our Civil Department. As a sworn Deputy Clerk of Court, you’ll perform essential tasks that support the smooth processing of civil and juvenile cases. You’ll represent the Clerk of the District Court and contribute to the legal and statutory processes that keep our judicial system running efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and complex clerical tasks related to civil and juvenile case processing
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in documentation
• Represent the Clerk of the District Court, carrying out legal requirements and managing all related documents
• Work with a dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient court operations

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Dependable & Detail-Oriented: Able to work with legal documents and handle sensitive information
• Customer-Focused: Experienced in customer service and can handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable typing at least 50 words per minute with accuracy
• Adaptable: Ready to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Qualified: You must have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 12 months of related work experience, along with the ability to pass a records check
