THE POSITION:
As a Sworn Deputy Clerk of Court, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the judicial system. Under the supervision of the Court Services Director, you will handle a range of duties including:
- Processing individuals assigned community service by the court.
- Collaborating with agencies using community service labor.
- Monitoring unsupervised probation terms and auditing cases in our time payment program.
- Enforcing bond forfeitures and more.
DO YOU QUALIFY?
- High school diploma or equivalent?
- 1 year of office experience (legal experience is a plus).
- The ability to type 50 words per minute without errors.
- Skilled in handling difficult situations and people.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a records check.

- Have a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of spelling, grammar, and clerical procedures.
- Are familiar with legal terminology and court procedures.
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Are eager to attend ongoing professional development through Idaho Institute of Court Management and distance learning.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
