Executive Search – Vice President of North America Finance - East of Indianapolis
Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to recruit a Vice President of Finance for the North American finance team of a private equity-backed, market-leading global manufacturer based in Greater Indianapolis, Indiana. Reporting directly to the Global Chief Financial Officer, this role will oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, provide strategic direction to the operations team with a focus on continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team while guiding and managing the finance team.
This is an in-office position located in Greater Indianapolis, and relocation assistance will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, direct, and lead North American finance and accounting functions.
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly reports, financial statements, forecasts, and cash flow analyses, present results to senior management.
- Partner with senior leadership to align on business strategy, driving financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze financial trends and collaborate with divisional and plant management to ensure operational efficiencies align with financial forecasts.
- Develop, manage, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting and financial analysis professionals to ensure individual and team success.
- Ensure all processes are accurately documented and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow.
- Compile financial and economic data to deliver meaningful analysis that informs strategic business decisions.
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a finance leadership role.
- At least 5 years of finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Strong familiarity with multinational organizations is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive background in FP&A, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Expertise in analyzing financial data, including pricing, margins, and cost strategies.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
