What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Kornit Digital?
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting recruiting, training, performance management, benefits administration, HR metrics and reporting, HRIS, payroll, enterprise-wide initiatives, and managing special projects that arise.
Responsibilities:
•The HR Generalist will assist in talent acquisition and recruitment efforts, including job posting, resume review, interviewing, and pre-employment processes
•Handle all HR inquiries related payroll, benefits, policy administration, leaves of absence, and other employee-related needs
•Plan and facilitate new hire orientation program and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition to the organization
•Handle benefits administration including orientations; plan enrollment and change requests, benefit plan inquiries, and open enrollment
•Coordinate leave requests and claims administration including FMLA, disability and workers' compensation
•Provide reports and metrics on a regular schedule, e.g., headcount reports to headquarters, salary reports to Finance
•Lead or assist with ad hoc projects, global initiatives, and regional employee events
•Liaise with employees to ensure employees’ needs and requirements are met

•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
•2 to 4 years of prior HR Generalist experience
•A strong client focus with solid judgment and critical thinking abilities
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Keen attention to detail
•Proven ability to be discreet especially when handling issues of a sensitive nature
•The ability to deal with the uncertainties of an evolving, dynamic organization
•Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; and HRIS applications
Special Demands:
•Travel up to twice per year is required for company events
•Lifting of boxes and packages up to 25 pounds is required
