What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator/Earthwork Project Manager position at Kotzer Excavating Inc.?
Overview
We are looking for a self-motivated person to seek out and complete Earthwork bids as well as manage projects.
This person would be responsible for completing bids through client relationships, networking, public and private postings, and assigned bid opportunities. When projects are awarded, they will coordinate communications between clients, vendors, fields, and office. The Project Manager would review plans, determine licensing, staffing and equipment needs, and manage project costs and timeline.
Qualifications
- 5 years of education/experience as an Earthworks Project Manager
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Willing to work long days if needed
- Pre-employment drug screen
There will be occasional travel and overnight stays outside of our office location.
