JOB OVERVIEW
The Yard Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of operations, setup/breakdown of an equipment auction, maintaining the facility, recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and direct the activities of all employees.
Increase transparency, while promoting efficiency and transparency through all divisions of our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and direct the activities of all employees
- Research and evaluate equipment
- Ensure all company vehicles and equipment are up-to-date on service and are able to perform effectively
- Oversee scheduling
- Enforce rules of conduct, safety and attendance for yard employees and administer discipline
- Adhere to and enforce all ethical standards by which the company operates
- Maintain flexibility to work various hours and shifts depending upon the operational needs of the auction
- Organizing auction events
- Coordinating with consignors
- Supervising the setup and breakdown of auction
- Handling and providing excellent customer service
- Will need to operate different forms of farm and construction equipment. Should also be able to train others to operate said equipment
- Will need to be able to fix and repair all forms of farm and construction equipment to run
- 8 Saturdays a year will be required to work
- M-F 8am-5pm central time with occasional overtime
- Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 field operations and management experience
- 5 years of experience in overseeing yard operations
- Drivers’ license in good standing
- Ability to run equipment
- Strong understanding of the auction industry
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work with team members
PAY
Based on experience
$60,000-$75,000 a Year
Job Type: Full-time
