What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Coordinator position at Kratos Defense?
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for all aspects of the recruiting department including but not limited to: Coordinating the interviewing process, scheduling interviews, handling incoming calls and maintaining & updating an applicant tracking system.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient administrative support, schedule field interview appointments, screen telephone calls and handle correspondence.
- Post job openings on/in ATS, job boards, appropriate websites.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (Pereless).
- Retrieve and process applications and resumes.
- Communicate with candidates, hiring managers and recruiters on applicant status.
- Perform highly confidential typing tasks, including compensation and rejection letters.
- Provide necessary documentation to vendors for background/reference screening.
- Develop and maintain monthly excel spreadsheets.
- Prepare pre and new hire binders and recruitment packets.
- Complete miscellaneous special projects as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
Required Experience:
- 2 - 5 years’ administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with an applicant tracking system preferred (Pereless)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills with impeccable phone etiquette
- Capability to independently multi-task and problem solve to complete responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective Team Player, self-motivated, quick learner
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Classification: Non-Exempt / primarily an in-person position
Competitive salary based on experience and education
$25 - $30 Hourly
