Market Manager

Job Overview:
The Market Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring outstanding service, and maintaining high-quality standards at The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s Market and Pool areas. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, handling customer interactions, and upholding company policies to deliver a premier dining and service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide genuinely hospitable service to all Market and Pool patrons.
- Train, supervise, and direct staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage weekly staff schedules, oversee payroll, and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Operate and update the POS system, process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and ensure product quality.
- Assist in bartending, following proper drink recipes and presentation.
- Keep the Market areas clean, organized, and inviting.
- Greet members and guests by name when possible.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with prep work in the kitchen and support banquets as needed.
- Work 50hrs per week including weekends/holidays.
Work Environment:
- Friendly, professional, and fast-paced setting with exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Regular use of cleaning chemicals and solutions.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Jonas POS system (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to bartend.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and proper alcohol service.
- Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours and lift up to 45 pounds.
- Dependable transportation required.
- Background check required.
