- Leadership: Guide teams in all phases, from design through construction, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering an environment of excellence and continuous learning.
- Client Collaboration: Build strong client relationships, lead project planning and development, and ensure client goals are met with solutions that drive results.
- Innovation: Apply your technical expertise to execute and oversee projects that push the boundaries of traditional engineering design and implementation.
- Leading diverse and high-stakes engineering projects, both in the office and the field, working with clients from around the globe, including major design and construction initiatives.
- Crafting intricate and detailed plans, calculations, and specifications that push the boundaries of mechanical engineering innovation.
- Spearheading the creation of proposals, meticulous specifications, cost estimates, and comprehensive contract documents for a wide array of engineering marvels.
- Conducting and overseeing precision engineering construction inspections, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of excellence.
- Performing rigorous testing and inspections of cutting-edge mechanical components and materials, guaranteeing their reliability and performance.
- Composing in-depth engineering reports that detail the progress and triumphant completion of groundbreaking projects.
- Undertaking and managing field surveys with pinpoint accuracy, critical to the project’s lifecycle from inception to completion.
- Analyzing complex data, preparing insightful reports, and delivering compelling presentations that showcase the brilliance of KOA’s engineering solutions to both internal teams and prestigious clients.
- Participate in the material procurement process by preparing detailed specifications and reviewing vendors’ quotations for technical accuracy.
- Utilize prepared engineering documents as part of comprehensive bid packages to enable accurate contractor bids. Evaluate returned bids for completeness and pricing and select and approve contractors.
- Pursuing ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance engineering skills and knowledge.
- Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering
- PE Licensure: Highly desired with the ability to pursue multi-state licensure.
- 5 years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design
- Proficient in industry codes and standards (ASME, NFPA, CFR, etc.)
- Extensive experience in the design of industrial equipment installations, including equipment layout and process design.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with engineering designers.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with Krech Ojard staff, individuals from other organizations, and client representatives.
- Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of complex mechanical engineering principles in project design and construction
- Thorough understanding of the project lifecycle with the ability to manage multifaceted engineering projects
- Proficiency in CAD software and the development of detailed drawing packages at various stages of design development
- Proven experience in developing comprehensive design packages from concept to construction using AutoCAD or Revit software.
