Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crop Shop Mechanic Lead to oversee the on-site crop shop at Kreher Family Farms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel and gas-powered truck and heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of mechanics in the crop shop to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with crop shop staff to develop and implement effective quality control procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in diesel technology or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- CDL-A driver's license required.
