Job Description:
The Diesel Repair Shop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the on-site crop shop, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired. This includes performing basic and advanced mechanical duties, such as trouble shooting, diagnostics and repair of equipment in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of mechanics in the crop shop to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with crop shop staff to develop and implement effective quality control procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in diesel technology or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- ASE Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician Certification preferred.
