What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Kruggel Lawton CPAs?
Overview: The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager on a range of marketing and communications functions to support the firm’s continued growth and help maintain its unique culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
External communications:
· Coordinate with Marketing Manager on timely updates to the firm’s website
· Update and post materials to the firm’s social media channels
· Take the lead – with Marketing Manager’s review – of the preparation and dissemination of regular newsletters and other mass communiques
· Prepare content from appropriate sources, including subject matter experts from within the firm – for blog, website, newsletter, press releases, etc.
Supporting internal firm culture:
· Actively coordinating internal Fun Committee events
· Supporting college/university recruiting efforts with collateral and materials
· Ordering and maintaining inventory of firm materials for new employee onboarding
· Helping plan and manage internal events, e.g., firmwide meetings and functions and those of internal communities such as KLWIN, NextGen, and other
Marketing, communications, and business development activities:
· Respond to internal requests for proposals; promptly draft proposals and supporting materials
· Enter prospects and new opportunities in the firm’s core system or CRM; provide pipeline and opportunity tracking (coordinate with Dustin?)
· Work with Marketing Manager to plan and execute external firm events (CFO Summit, open houses, etc.) and other events at which the firm is represented
· Maintain and update database(s) for events and client recognition
· Assist the Marketing Manager in managing requests for sponsorships and community investments
Primary Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Marketing/Communications ideal
- 2-4 years of marketing communications experience, ideally in a professional service environment
- Strengths in graphic design and writing
