The Head of Service Delivery is a senior leadership position that plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution and delivery of projects, managed services, and cloud services within a professional services organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Key member of the Executive Leadership Team
- Leading, Managing and Holding the Delivery Team Leaders accountable: leading and managing the Program, Managed Services, Functional, and Technical leads. Providing mentorship, coaching, and support to help them achieve their goals and deliver high-quality results
- Responsible for leading and growing a consulting team of over 50 w2's and 1099's
- Strategic Planning: Help our customer in developing and executing a strategic vision for the program, aligning it with the organization's goals and objectives
- Client Engagement Leadership : Act as a single point of contact for our client by overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of projects and managed services within the program, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget and meeting SLAs
- Capacity Planning and Resource Planning: accurately forecasting demand and aligning consulting resources to meet demand. Managing utilization and minimizing downtime within both Programs/Projects and Managed Services
- Driving the proper training and certifications for the team with thought leadership demonstrated at local and national trade shows
- 7 years of experience using JD Edwards applications from kickoff to go live
REQUIRED Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
- 10 Years of IT Director experience (in addition to any experience offered in lieu of degree requirements)
- 10 years of Director Level Experience
- 10 years of resource forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation and scheduling
- 5 years of Cloud Service Experience
- 7 years of experience using JD Edwards and Cloud applications from kickoff to go live
- Direct client support and large project management
- Experience in customer service and Leadership
- 10 years of resource management
- Extensive experience of delivering successful consultancy services to external clients in an education and / or public-sector environment
- Experience of successful business and strategy development, including at least two of - market analysis, strategy development, product development, thought leadership and client positioning, client relationship management, proposal development, partnership development
- Significant experience of managing a portfolio of projects or a complex program, with the ability to manage a changing portfolio in line with client needs
- Experience of leading, managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams to meet or exceed delivery targets and achieve client satisfaction
- Experience managing large multi-stakeholder sales
- Significant experience in people and team management, preferably in a consultancy environment, with the ability influence others and create an environment to maximize the team's potential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project or other project planning tool
- Knowledge of Visio or similar for process modeling
- Required: Experience with application support for JD Edwards or another tier 1 ERP system
- Experience in leading projects and managing expectations and outcomes
- Knowledge of customer experience and process improvement
- Highly effective in-person, phone, and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment while achieving personal production goals

- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
REQUIRED Skills & Experience

EDUCATION
4-year College degree or 7 years of direct experience
