The Opportunity
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our fast-paced, driven, and irreverent team in Warwick, RI. You'll manage daily financial processes and associated operations, working closely with our leadership team across various time zones.
This role requires on-site work five days a week, with the potential for limited remote flexibility after six months. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed.

Your Responsibilities
Financial Management and Bookkeeping
- Assist with data entry in various financial software systems
- Process check deposits and scan financial records
- Prepare and send invoices as needed
- Assess, create, and enhance departmental controls, systems, and practices to improve accuracy and productivity
- Ensure proper and timely completion of month-end and year-end reporting
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and take part in audits as necessary
- Demonstrate knowledge of the general ledger and make journal entries
- Create and track locations & classes in QuickBooks
- Make adjusting entries where necessary and as advised by the managing accountant/CFO
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Prepare and record payroll
- Research and resolve abnormal transactions and bills in accordance with General Ledger account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate databases and filing systems (digital and physical)
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in office management and bookkeeping roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google Workspace, and project management platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Experience in vendor management and accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to collaborate with technical providers and troubleshoot issues
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) a plus

Salary : $55,000 - $68,000
