Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires an understanding of accounting principles and some knowledge of accounting software.
Duties
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quicken for efficient record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Some knowledge of financial concepts.
- Experience in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Quicken.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and balance sheet reconciliation is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
