Description:
The Business Development Manager, TopFlite division will be responsible for developing and managing key customer relationships that will result in securing new business and contributing to the corporate growth objectives. The focus area for this position will be high-quality connector products. The Strategic Account Manager will interact regularly with the Company's manufacturer's representative channel and customer base generating new business and extended business opportunities with existing customers. This position will report into the VP Sales TopFlite and will be an integral part of the sales organization. TopFlite is currently located in Homestead, Florida and is a division of kSARIA which is headquartered in Hudson, NH.

Responsibilities include the following:
- Cultivate key customer relationships to identify new business opportunities
- Manage and support assigned manufacturer's representative firm(s) within set geographic areas
- Identify and further penetrate existing customer organizations, professionally present capabilities, and develop new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute the sales strategy in collaboration with the VP, Sales.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts, sales and bookings. Take ownership of achieving these objectives.
- Fully comprehend the RFQ requirements and provide a structure and strategy to win new business.
- Provide sales forecasts and account plans and meet sales objectives and department key performance indicators.
- Contribute to an exceptional customer experience from RFQ to ship by providing a means of clear and consistent communication to assure the highest satisfaction level and lock in future recurring business.
- Develop relationships with customers to enhance opportunities and support the company's vision.
- Such other duties as may be assigned.
- Travel to customer locations with manufacturers' representatives and individually as required (35%-45%).
- Travel to tradeshows
- Proven track record as a sales executive leading strategic sales initiative in a manufacturing-based company.
- Strategic, results driven, goal-oriented thinker with exceptional, timely, decision-making skills.
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability and confidence to correspond with both customers and executives.
- Preferred experience with conducting business in the defense/ aerospace industry supplying product to large Prime contractors.
- Complete knowledge of sales concepts and the ability to manage complex sales cycles with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong influencer with the ability to think out of the box.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professionalism, unquestioned integrity and personal values.
- Exceptional computer skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines and goals.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
- Will require travel.
- US Citizenship required for US Department of Defense work.
Preferred location is southeast or mid-west but willing to look at other locations.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (technical degree a huge plus)
- MBA preferred
