Job purpose
The purpose of this accounting position at KRDNA is to maintain control of newly established fixed assets as well as the deposits account, timely and accurately perform all functions related to AP, and maintain the supplier list as approved by management.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review FA deposits account monthly to remove newly “in-service” assets.
- Support fixed asset budget planning and control
- Set up newly in-service assets in fixed asset system (FAS).
- Performs monthly CIP reconciliation
- Performs monthly AP reconciliation
- Organize and perform new supplier setup requests in SAP for approval
- Process approved supplier invoices for payment timely and accurately
- Creates monthly journal entry template related to all AP accruals
- Creates monthly journal entry template related to employee expense reimbursements
- Performs monthly reconciliation of company credit card statements
- Initiating payment batches to suppliers via check, ACH, or wire for approval
- Performs monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Supplier invoice problem resolution.
- Prepares and performs supplier change requests via SAP change request application
- Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
- High school diploma / GED Knowledge of basic Excel functions
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) skills
- Strong communications skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- English language competency and legible writing ability
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight
Preferred Skills and Experience
- College degree
- Previous accounting experience
- BPCS experience
- FAS experience
