Hardscape Foreman

Kunco Landscape, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of hardscape projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and extensive knowledge of hardscape installation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and work alongside a team of hardscape technicians on various projects, including patios, retaining walls, walkways, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and other hardscape features.
• Read and interpret blueprints, designs, and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
• Operate and maintain various hardscape equipment, such as excavators, skid steers, compactors, and saws.
• Ensure proper site preparation, grading, base compaction, and installation of pavers, natural stone, concrete, and other materials.
• Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Enforce and follow all safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for the crew.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise on-site while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardscape installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of hardscaping materials, techniques, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site plans.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and power tools related to hardscaping.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
