Job Summary
Yardmaster is in search of a Landscape / Hardscape Crew Leader. We are a design build landscape firm, and also work heavily in the general construction industry installing new landscapes on construction projects. We are looking for motivated career minded people who are interested in a long term position.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 5 years experience in the hardscape field is required. Knowledge of plant materials, plant installation, retaining wall and paver construction are all part of this position. Applicants must be able to operate equipment, establish grades and elevations using a laser transit, read construction drawings, and accurately layout a landscape project. Applicants must also effectively and efficiently manage a 2-5 man crew and meet job requirements and specifications within a timely manner. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DOT physical are required. A CDL is optional.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the hardscape crew in daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Utilize hand and power tools for construction tasks, including concrete forming and carpentry.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean worksite.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide training as needed.
- Manage project logistics, including material procurement and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and operate vehicles as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
