Office Manager / Store Controller
Kunes Country Auto Group is seeking an Office Manager / Store Controller.
At Kunes Country Automotive Group the Office Manager / Store Controller plays a vital role in our organization by maintaining financial records and leading a team in the general operations of the accounting department. A successful candidate will have an accounting degree or at least 10 years of dealership accounting, a desire to learn and grow in the position, and possess leadership skills needed to oversee the accounting staff at the store level. At Kunes Country we have a supportive environment, where the CFO, Corporate Controller, Regional Controller and Corporate Accounting Trainer are available to ensure your success.
Job Description (responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Manage all aspects of the dealership's office activities, including accounting, collections, payroll, inventories, titling, etc.
- Review day-to-day activities of staff to make sure responsibilities are being met and goals achieved.
- Ensure all the above duties are performed in a timely, accurate, ethical and professional manner.
- Review schedules and required reporting (sales tax, payroll) are done accurately and timely.
- Communicate with management issues as they arise.
- Perform end-of-month duties along with submission of financial statements in a timely manner.
- Confirm state and manufacturer compliance with all accounting and reporting functions.
- Have strong understanding of the stores balance sheet accounts and company processes
