Kuukpik Corporation was established in 1973 under the provisions of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). It owns the surface rights to portions of the Colville River Delta, located 50 miles west of Prudhoe Bay.
Kuukpik Corporation successfully negotiated a comprehensive surface-use agreement. This agreement established provisions for education, training, preferences in contracting, employment, and the environment for the village of Nuiqsut.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
The Accounts Payable Technician supports the Finance Department under the supervision of the Sr. Staff Accountant. This position is responsible for accounts payable functions and general finance department support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions.
- Verify and reconcile invoices and statements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assists with data collection and processing for certain payroll and accounts receivable workflows
- Other duties as assigned
