Position Summary:
- The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely entry and payment of the company’s invoices.
Schedule:
- Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote
- Training for 4 weeks in the office 5 days
Education and/or Experience:
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- Or one to three years of related experience and/or training
Certification/Licensure:
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid Auto Insurance
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify invoices and check requests
- Input and upload invoices into the accounts payable system
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely payments via checks and electronic transfers
- Maintain vendors profiles, with appropriate coding, tax and bank information
- Professional and courteous correspondence with internal and external customers
- Respond timely to internal staff and external vendor inquiries
- Completes related tasks as required
