Digital Marketing Lead

Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Lead will take ownership of Kwalu's digital marketing efforts, focusing on email marketing, social media management, SEO, website optimization, and performance analytics. This position plays a critical role in shaping and executing digital strategies to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and drive engagement. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Lead will collaborate across teams to align digital initiatives with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing strategies using Mailchimp, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
- Create and manage lead nurturing workflows and targeted campaigns to engage audiences and convert leads.
- Analyze email performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
- Website Management & SEO:
- Oversee website content updates to ensure optimal user experience and performance.
- Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies, including keyword research, meta updates, and content optimization.
- Monitor website performance metrics and recommend enhancements to drive organic traffic and engagement.
- Social Media Management:
- Lead Kwalu’s social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), developing and executing content strategies tailored to B2B audiences.
- Plan and implement social campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and report on social media performance, adjusting tactics to maximize results.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across email, website, social media, and SEO efforts.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp reporting, and social media analytics to provide actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards and regular updates to share performance insights with stakeholders.
- Campaign Alignment:
- Work closely with the Marketing team to integrate digital efforts with broader campaigns, product launches, and sales initiatives.
- Ensure digital assets align with Kwalu’s brand voice and messaging.
- Innovative Strategies:
- Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing.
- Propose new ideas and technologies to keep Kwalu’s digital presence innovative and competitive.
What You'll Need
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on B2B.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in email marketing platforms, especially Mailchimp, including campaign creation and analytics.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, social media management tools, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools for monitoring and optimization.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- Additional:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the healthcare or senior living industries is a plus.
