Execute technical Sweater fit comments and tech packs from Development to Production. Ensure fit and quality are on-brand and production friendly.
Engineer tech packs with Designer's direction and aligns with company fit rules.Evaluate samples include yarn / stitch / gg / trims ahead of the fit session to accelerate fit processAlign with Designer on fit intent, and lead model fittings by identifying problems and providing solutions to fit and quality issues.Trouble shoot technical bottlenecks and reaffirm fit goals by communicating complete, accurate and concise solutions to factory on timely matter.Leverage spec / quality standards to provide a deliberately consistent product, and proactively evolve these standards to improve execution, encompass new trends, and positively influence customer loyalty.Issue grading for approved styles and ensure proportions are maintained throughout the size-range.Partner with Director of Development and Production to coordinate and meet all development and production fit and comment deadlines.Able to maintain a constant sense of urgency while being creative in problem solving.Candidate
4 years of experience with proven success working as Women's Sweater Tech Designer.Strong knowledge of Sweater construction, fitting and technical know-hows and terminology.Elevated standard in fit and quality comparable to Designer labels, while able to interpret be brand-right.Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Outlook, Adobe AcrobatStrong organizational, time management and prioritization skills, attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including last-minute changes necessary for businessExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong personal accountability. A team player who is collaborative and self-motivated.Strong ability to manage up and initiate conversations with all cross functional partners to problem solve.
