Escrow Officer – Houston, TX (Direct Hire, In-Office)
We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join a well-established team in Houston, TX. This is a direct-hire position offering a competitive salary of $70,000annually and bonuses based on profitability. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in real estate, title, and lending transactions and be comfortable managing all aspects of escrow responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents for closings, including Closing Disclosures and HUDs
- Present and explain closing documents to buyers and sellers
- Review contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions
- Coordinate and schedule closings with all parties involved
- Provide exceptional customer service and work effectively with the office team
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of closing/escrow documents, lender loan packages, and industry-wide rules and regulations
- Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet timelines
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking, reading comprehension, and decision-making abilities
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
- A book of business is a plus but not required
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional travel for appointments
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Extensive computer use
