Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks efficiently.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by regularly cleaning countertops, glassware, and equipment.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of bar service for events or banquets.
• Handle cash register operations and assist with cash handling as needed.
• Provide support during busy periods by bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or plates.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be willing to help out wherever needed within the food industry context.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
