JOB SUMMARY:
L’Occitane is seeking an Employer Brand Intern. The intern will assist in internal communication and employer brand initiatives. They will gain general knowledge in various aspects of Employer Brand & Internal Communication through hands-on experience including content creation, employee engagement and corporate communication. The ideal candidate must be able to commit at least 28 hours/week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist and develop skills in Internal Communication
Develop content for internal teams as needed such as invites, videos and slide decks
Create and update digital signage used on screens throughout the offices and in other communication areas
Assist in in-house design & digital creation projects with consistent branding
Ensure all communication has a strong relationship to the brand
• Support employee engagement initiatives
Support the Manager, Employer Brand & Internal Communications on deployment of employee projects like Move for People, employee month-long event, and employee engagement survey
Assist in head office experiential learning sessions
Maintain brand voice and employee experience across hybrid environments
Assist in internal event planning and project management as needed
• Assist and develop skills in Employer Brand
Partner with Manager, Employer Brand & Internal Communications on Social Media assets for LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other identified channels
Create from ideation to market of multi-media assets highlighting the employee experience (design, shooting & editing)
• All other duties or projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or a recent graduate
• Concentration in Communications is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
• Prior internship experience in communications or marketing
SKILLS:
• Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening) with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization
• Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading
• Skillful with common design, presentation, and video tools
• Detail-oriented with an eye for layouts and typography
• Ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines
• Possess a "can do" approach, and courage to speak your voice and suggest innovative ideas
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able work in normal office conditions on a hybrid work schedule
• Must be available to work a minimum of 28 hours per week
