Title: Manager - Brand Business Development
Team: L'Oreal Paris Hair Care
Location: Hudson Yards
Mission and defining characteristics:
- Main source of support for BBD Lead
- Point person for timely and complete compilation and communication of all sales and marketing materials to field
- Owner of Go To Market and national planning work
- Primary Food, Broker and White Space channel liaison
Main tasks:
- Manage add/delete process across portfolio
- Kick-off add/delete process and manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Co-present add/delete recommendations to senior leadership
- Publish final Go To Market
- Serve as primary support for field on all Go To Market deliverables and updates
- Communicate necessary materials to field, including:
- Marketing selling materials and result decks
- Maintain integrity of field-based documents for brand success (Pricing/Master Spec/GTM, etc.)
- Co-own national display planning process with Omni-Shopper Director
- Curate C14 display assortments that maximize both brand and retailer priorities for Strategic Food and White Space accounts.
- Monthly display reconciliation and lock for national and account specific programs
- Provide leverage to BBD on key responsibilities
- Weekly update of total field consumption, calling out any LE changes and updates necessary to BBD forecasting call
- Track impact and strategically support field to build strong trade promotion plans
- Author/Issuer of weekly calls notes with the field, provide weekly sales outlook prior to Nielsen drop
- Marketing Sales Liaison
- Daily interaction with marketing squad for full immersion and knowledge of Hair Color category
- Owner of monthly marketing/sales communication meeting agenda and content
- Go-to for field sales on selling materials and supplemental needs.
- Maintain record of account distribution evolution
- Track current and historical distribution by account
- Own collection of non-corporate delete requests
- Own calendar of account reset timing and launch needs.
- Lead BBD strategy for Strat Food, Broker, and White Space accounts
- Collaborate with BBD lead to monitor meaningful strategies that advance objectives for Food, Broker, and White Space Channels
- When called upon, present new items to account buying teams.
- Oversee and participate in meeting prep
- Oversee details of NACDS, Retailer New Item meetings, NAM Summit, Beauty Advisor Trainings
- Collect and mail materials to support meetings (comps, decor, etc.)
- Account Launch Pre-Meeting calls, Sales Meeting prep
- Present at Account Meetings (as needed)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in CPG sales role
- Strong ability to communicate (oral/written), present to management and lead cross functional team projects
- Strong working knowledge of consumer package goods industry
- Working understanding of promotional tactics
- Highly organized with excellent planning ability and strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Applications, DPM, Power BI
