Who We Are

L & S Diversified is a Surveying and Mapping, Sub-Surface Utility Engineering, and Civil Engineering firm based out of Orlando Florida. We provide our services to both private and government clients under single source contracts or as the prime consultant under various continuing services contracts. We specialize in land development, utility design, and transportation projects.

What We Need

L & S Diversified is seeking a Surveying Project Manager for our municipal and private development segment. Our private clients develop medium to large-scale mixed-use, single and multi-family, and industrial projects. Our municipal clients develop new or improve existing utility transmission systems, gravity systems, transportation projects, and land development projects.

At L & S Diversified, Surveying Project Managers are responsible for networking and obtaining new clients, writing proposals and negotiating project fees, managing clients and sub-consultants, assisting in the management of day-to-day operations of office and field staff, recruiting technical staff positions, providing QA/QC, scheduling, and tracking project budgets and deliverables. Additional responsibilities include:

· Write complex proposals for large scale private and municipal projects potentially with multiple phases

· Implement procedures that are designed to maximize operating efficiency

· Writing complex technical scopes of work for both office and field staff

· Schedule surveying and mapping technician operations

· Lead by example, provide guidance to the technical staff

· Manage the entire life of a project, from negotiations to final deliverable, ensuring services meet company standards and client requirements

· Manage sub-consultants and interact with vendors

· Analyze and report on budgets and schedules

· Negotiate changes in contracts

· Manage and report on financial status including AR/WIP

· Attend trade shows and networking events

· Additionally, it is expected that Project Management staff provide project support whenever required

What You Need

· 5 years management experience with private or municipal projects

· Bachelor’s degree in related discipline/and or equivalent experience

· Demonstrated experience with large scale development projects

· Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Office Suite

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly define assignments/deliverables to team members

· Ability to mentor and motivate a project team

· Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems

· Ability to meet aggressive deadlines

· Professional License or The Ability to Obtain One in a Reasonable Amount of Time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
