What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance Technician position at L & S Realty?
We are looking for a dependable Full Time individual to join our Property Management/Development team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform the general maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance of our commercial, retail, and residential properties. This includes but is not limited to the daily operations at the property in the areas of landscaping, carpentry, painting, fencing and roofing repairs, plumbing, light electrical as well as the performance of all routine and preventative maintenance required to maintain the physical integrity of the property.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as completing maintenance orders from tenants, assessing issues and making needed repairs.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces
- Maintenance of property exterior and grounds
- Performing routine and preventative Maintenance
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors, as needed.
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
- Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
- Maintains a positive customer service attitude and professional communications.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in facilities maintenance and troubleshooting for repairs.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience and knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, light carpentry and general repair.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook as an essential form of communication.
- Must have valid NYS driver’s license.
