Position: PC Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking 10 dedicated PC Technicians to join our team in the Columbia, SC 29201 or 29229 area. As a PC Technician, your primary responsibility will be to update and fix machines across 2 locations.
Responsibilities:
- Update and fix Dell computers according to provided guidelines and instructions.
- Install software updates, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure all machines are properly configured, functioning optimally, and meeting required specifications.
- Conduct system testing to identify and resolve any performance issues or malfunctions.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, including repairs, replacements, and updates.
- Collaborate with the project team and communicate progress and challenges effectively.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a PC Technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members and end-users.
- Must have a clean background and pass any required background checks.
- Availability to work Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of additional work on Fridays and Saturdays (if available).
- Must have reliable transportation.
