La Mer Beachfront Resort is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Programming Coordinator to join our team. The Programming Coordinator will play a vital role in planning, executing, and enhancing guest activities, as well as supporting concierge and front desk operations. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Programming:
- Assist in the development, planning, and execution of engaging guest activities and special events.
- Set up, operate, and break down scheduled activities, ensuring seamless experiences for guests.
- Interact with guests, encouraging participation and creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
- Gather feedback and suggest new programming ideas to enhance the overall guest experience.
Guest Relations & Concierge Services:
- Provide concierge assistance by booking tours, excursions, and local experiences for hotel guests.
- Deliver amenities to VIP guests and ensure their special requests are met with excellence.
- Serve as a resource for guests by offering recommendations and information about the resort and surrounding area.
- Prepare and update a weekly resort report highlighting upcoming events, restaurant hours and specials, guest activities, and local happenings around Cape May to keep staff and guests informed.
Front Desk & Concierge:
- Assist at the front desk, checking guests in and out efficiently while providing top-tier customer service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Support additional hotel operations and administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- At least one year of previous hospitality, event planning or guest services experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Must have strong organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with guests of all ages.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, mornings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, talk, or hear, and taste or smell.
