What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher position at La Petite Playschool?
La Petite Playschool and La Petite Nursery are searching for a few AMAZING people to join our team!
About us:
La Petite Playschool and La Petite Nursery have been serving the Corvallis community since 2008. We are in-home, year-round, state-certified childcare facilities that follow strict health and safety guidelines, much like that of a large childcare facility. Our primary goal is to provide our parents with peace of mind, knowing that their child will be safe and loved while in our care. Our professional, competent staff have been properly trained, making them able to provide optimal care for six-week through six-year-old children.
Candidates:
1. Part time position (10 to 30 hours per week). We are open Mondays through Friday. If working part time, you can expect to work two to three days per week.
2. Must enjoy working with children between 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
3. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, active, and sometimes stressful (yet very rewarding) work environment.
4. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
5. Must have tons and tons of energy and patience.
6. Must be extremely dependable and have reliable transportation.
7. Must be able to commit to at least 1 year (if possible) to give the children consistency and stability.
8. Experience preferred, but on-the-job training is provided for those with little to no experience.
If you have a passion for working with little people, this might be the perfect job for you! If you would like to set up a phone interview, we would love to hear from you!
