The Staff Development Coordinator at La Villa Grande Care Center is responsible for planning and managing training programs for facility employees ensuring compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards. They will also lead initiatives in infection prevention and control collaborating with nursing staff to maintain high-quality care.
Staff Development Coordinator- Large Senior Living Community
We are seeking an outstanding Staff Development Coordinator to join our team at La Villa Grande Care Center a large senior living community in Grand Junction. Come join a team of dedicated smart and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learning needs and designs in-service and continuing ed programs based on quality assurance data to meet needs and regulatory guidelines
- Develops implements communicates and evaluates annual training plan
- Develops specific teaching plans and programs to cover training needs for all roles on a regular basis
- Works with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care is held to highest standard and all facility policies and procedures are carried out by every staff member
Requirements:
- Must hold current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required Background/training in infection control is preferred Current CPR certificate desired
