Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Staff Development Coordinator to join our team at La Villa Grande Care Center, a large senior living community in Grand Junction. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements annual training plans to meet regulatory guidelines and ensure quality care for residents.
- Designs and delivers in-service and continuing education programs to meet the learning needs of employees.
- Works with the Director of Nursing to ensure that all facility policies and procedures are carried out by every staff member.
- Collaborates with nursing staff to develop teaching plans and programs to cover training needs for all roles on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required. Background/training in infection control is preferred.
- Current CPR certificate desired.

- Competitive salary range $80,000 - $97,000 DOE.
