Research Associate

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research Associate located in College Station, TX. The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting policy-relevant research, collecting and analyzing data, writing reports and research papers, collaborating with student and faculty teams, and engaging with external institutions and stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the preparation of research presentations and grant applications.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and technical research methods
• Experience in writing research reports and papers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong interest in international development and economic policy
• Advanced degree in Economics, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field, with economics strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in similar research roles or internships is beneficial
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, R) and Microsoft Office Suite
