Job Summary: As a Service Advisor you are responsible for greeting customers, listening to their description of the problems or service needed, determining the type of service required and preparing repair orders. If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, a new estimate with the additional cost is created and the customer is contacted for permission to do the work. They also advise customers on other available services.
Pay: $14.00 to $16.00 an hour; Monthly bonus on your sales that average $1,500.00-$2,000.00.
Schedule:
- Full-time 40 hours a week; Service Department hours Monday and Thursday 7:30am-8pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30am- 5:30pm, and Saturday 8am-3pm; Work schedule to be established with supervisor to ensure dealership needs are met.

Essential Job Duties:
- Greeting guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
- Answering phone calls and scheduling service appointments.
- Actively listening to accurately document guest’s vehicle concerns.
- Generating repair orders and documenting guests concerns with their vehicle.
- Preparing accurate estimates on parts and labor for guests.
- Recommending mileage-based maintenance for guests.
- Obtain details of customer concern and translates to assists technicians with diagnosis.
- Monitoring progress of guest’s vehicles throughout the day and frequently updating guests on the repair progress.
- Inspect repairs completed by technicians.
- Explain all repairs to guests and necessary charges.
- Maintains electronic and/or paper records of service work.
- Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2 years dealership/service experience (required).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to be insurable by our auto insurance provider.
