Cherry Picker Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cherry Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cherry picker equipment to efficiently pick and move products within a distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate cherry picker equipment to retrieve products from high shelving units.
• Ensure accurate order picking and staging of products for shipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain efficient workflow and inventory management.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards while operating heavy equipment in the warehouse.
• Assist in building pallets and preparing orders for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with warehouse policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating cherry pickers or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and distribution center environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation is essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Experience as an order picker or warehouse supervisor is advantageous but not required.
• Must be able to lift and move items as needed throughout the shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
