Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be experienced in working with various piping systems. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in a variety of settings, including construction sites. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Maintain and repair existing piping systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Fabricate pipe sections using hand tools and welding techniques.
• Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise measurements.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate tasks on-site.
• Troubleshoot issues within piping systems and implement effective solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience in maintaining and building piping systems in industrial or commercial settings.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in pipefitting tasks.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
