La Centre Conference & Banquet Facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture, driving talent acquisition, and ensuring effective HR operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Supervise HR staff and ensure efficient HR operations.
- Negotiate employment offers and manage employee relations issues with professionalism.
- Conduct data analysis to inform strategic decisions related to workforce planning and organization design.
- Develop and manage budgets for HR initiatives and programs.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Foster a positive workplace environment that encourages employee engagement and retention.
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience - Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR/SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
- Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to interact effectively and present information in both written and oral form with management, employees and labor related organizations.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to practical situations. Ability to use HR related math such as calculating turnover, retention and total compensation reports.
- Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
